POLIPUL SFENOIDO-COANAL: CAZURI CLINICE SI REVIEW

REZUMAT
Obiective. Autorii descriu 2 cazuri de formaţiuni tumorale nazale benigne, asimilate în mod uzual formaţiunilor polipoase coanale, dar cu inserţie anormală, la nivelul sinusului sfenoid.

Material şi metodă. Prezentări de caz.

Rezultate. Sunt discutate aspectele chirurgicale şi imagistice legate de cazurile respective, soldate cu vindecarea pe termen lung a pacienţilor.

Concluzii. Originea polipilor coanali nu este întotdeauna uniformă, la nivelul sinusului maxilar. Recunoaşterea şi evidenţierea lor, cu extirparea în totalitate a formaţiunii tumorale poate conduce la rezultate bune, fără recidive, pe termen lung
