REZUMAT

Leonardo da Vinci a fost unul dintre cei mai proeminenţi artişti ai omenirii. Interesul său faţă de problemele umanităţii se înscriu în tendinţa cunoaşterii globale din Evul Mediu. Polihistorismul şi erudiţia lui Leonardo l-au condus spre ştiinţele morfologice. De aici interesul său faţă de anatomia umană şi a animalelor. Această lucrare reprezintă o trecere în revistă a contribuţiilor lui Leonardo da Vinci la progresul cunoştinţelor anatomice.
