CEREBELITA ACUTA LA UN PACIENT CU GASTROENTEROCOLITA CU ROTAVIRUS. PREZENTARE DE CAZ

REZUMAT
Rotavirusul este cea mai frecventă cauză de gastroenterită severă la copii în întreaga lume. Se consideră că aproape toţi copiii au fost infectaţi cu rotavirus între 2 şi 3 ani, iar majoritatea formelor simptomatice apar între 4 şi 24 de luni. Localizarea frecventă a infecţiei cu acest virus este la nivelul tractului digestiv, dar în cazuri rare s-au raportat localizări extraintestinale ale infecţiei, pacienţii prezentând manifestări neurologice de tip convulsii benigne, encefalită/encefalopatie şi, foarte rar, cerebelită acută. Prezentăm cazul unei paciente diagnosticate cu cerebelită bilaterală asociată cu gastroenterită cu rotavirus.
